I like how you begin and end your journey there and back to the station! Thought England was mostly flat but not Hebden, or places around it. Photos 5 to 8 remind me of an escalator but people would be electrocuted if it was. It looks like you start flying from 12 and number 12, 15, 16 and 21 are my favourites! Number 16 was a surprise - it looks like Australia apart from the green grass! Looks chilly especially 17 and eighteen - maybe the colours. You must have sore calf muscles by now!
It takes about half an hour through hilly countryside on the Manchester or Blackpool train. The 'escalator' is in the centre of Hebden and we were having coffee outside a cafe when I took those photos.
We climbed higher than some birds on our way up! The air was slightly steamy as the sun warmed the valley, then it became clearer towards the top and yes a bit chilly. I should find out what the local stone is around there, it produces many rugged rock faces.

I think my calf muscles just about survived!
I would like to hear what stone is found there, it looks like sandstone from a distance but probably isn't.
ALTHOUGH ... what the cobbles, bridge and old homes are made from would be a good clue!
